When it comes to aluminum plates, many people only perceive them as 'usable' but fail to explore how their core characteristics—such as lightweight, weather resistance, and ease of processing—can accurately address the pain points of various industries. In fact, from subway station ceilings to airport jet bridges, aluminum plates have long become a core material in multiple sectors thanks to their on-demand adaptability. Today, starting from the key advantages of aluminum plates, we will discuss the industries they are suitable for, especially their applications in the transportation field, to see how they provide solutions for different scenarios.
Firstly, excellent weather resistance: After applying a fluorocarbon coating on the surface, aluminum plates can withstand moisture during the plum rain season in southern China and freeze-thaw cycles in northern winters. Unlike stone, they won’t grow moss, and unlike paint, they won’t crack or peel off. When used for office building exteriors and shopping mall curtain walls, they don’t require renovation for a decade.
Secondly, lightweight: The weight of an aluminum plate of the same area is only 1/5 that of stone. No additional wall reinforcement is needed when installing it on high-rise exteriors, and it can even be easily adapted for large-span hotel lobby ceilings.
In addition, aluminum plates can be processed into curved or polygonal shapes, with colors ranging from light gray to dark brown. When used for decorating the facades of commercial complexes and community entrance halls, they can not only fit the architectural style but also enhance the overall texture.

Transportation hubs such as subway stations and airports have high foot traffic and complex environments, requiring materials to be 'durable and easy to maintain'—and aluminum plates perform exceptionally well:
Aluminum plates are commonly used for subway station ceilings and platform walls—on one hand, they are scratch-resistant, so luggage accidentally rubbing against them won’t leave marks; on the other hand, their smooth and non-porous surface allows dust raised from the ground and occasional spilled drinks to be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth, greatly improving cleaning efficiency. Moreover, their lightweight nature makes ceiling installation and later maintenance more convenient, without significantly occupying operational time.

Food and pharmaceutical packaging have strict requirements for material 'safety and sealing performance', and high-purity aluminum plates (such as 1060 series and 1100 series) perfectly match these needs:
Firstly, high purity: Aluminum plates with a purity of ≥99.5% contain no heavy metal impurities. When used to make cola cans and tin cans, they won’t react chemically with food, meeting food-grade standards.
Secondly, excellent sealing performance: Aluminum plates can block oxygen, light, and moisture. When used as lids for coffee capsules and sealing layers for milk powder cans, they can extend the shelf life of food and prevent moisture-induced deterioration.
Even aluminum-plastic blister packs for pharmaceutical packaging (such as tablet packaging) leverage the easy stamping property of aluminum plates to create small individual packages, which are not only convenient to carry but also ensure that medicines are not contaminated.
